For God created man

For God created man to be immortal - You have turned my mourning into dancing  - He who gathered much had nothing left over - They ridiculed him

Blessed are they that saw thee, and slept in love; for we shall surely live - Ascribe to Yahweh, you families of nations - But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses 

Please let a double

Please let a double portion of your spirit be on me - You will keep them secretly in a dwelling away from the strife of tongues - But you, when you pray, enter into your inner chamber

 

See how Ahab

See how Ahab humbles himself before me? - Create in me a clean heart, O God - pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you

Ahab rose up to go down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, to take possession of it - Evil can't live with you - But I tell you, don't resist him who is evil

in the shade

in the shade of its branches shall they dwell - They will be full of sap and green - for we walk by faith, not by sight - so that the birds of the sky can lodge under its shadow

 

Then he arose

Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and served him - As for the saints who are in the earth, they are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight - But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes' and your 'No' be 'No.'

Then the fire of Yahweh

Then the fire of Yahweh fell, and consumed the burnt offering - Preserve me, God - I didn’t come to destroy, but to fulfill

The hand of the Lord was with them -  Yahweh has made known his salvation - but if it isn’t worthy, let your peace return to you

I have commanded the ravens to feed you there - Yahweh will keep you from all evil - Blessed are the poor in spirit

reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching - You will bring us up again from the depths of the earth - In his teaching he said to them, Beware of the scribes

My heart is turned within me - Sing to Yahweh - that you may be filled with all the fullness of God - that the Scripture might be fulfilled

Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection - He will teach the humble his way - you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart

For God didn't give

For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control - Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scoffing of those who are at ease - He is not the God of the dead, but of the living 

Regard the patience of our Lord

Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation - Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us - Shall we give, or shall we not give?

through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue - You will tread on the lion and the cobra - The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the head of the corner 

 

Observe the Sabbath day

Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy - Blow the trumpet at the New Moon - We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed - The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath 

 

Keep yourselves in the love of God

Keep yourselves in the love of God - I will lift up my hands in your name - They answered Jesus, “We don’t know.”
