O Lord, come!...Saul of Tarsus / John of Patmos

Great, Great, Great, Grandfather Nicolas Mathieu Delepine’s (1800-1850) ambition for his son was that he become a lawyer. His son’s ambition was to become a doctor.

Great, Great Grandfather Alphonse Antoine Delepine (1824-1886) led a life full of adventure in France, Chile, the United States and Switzerland, siring 13 children, one of the last being Charles in Paris.

Great Grandfather Charles Rose Delepine (1867-1950) tried a little bit of everything and finally found his calling as a Baptist pastor, attending seminar in Louisville Kentucky from 1895 to 1899. In 1921 he and his family arrived in Hood River, Oregon.

Grandfather Sheridan Mark Delepine (1899-1997) experienced a revelation as a teenager on the banks of the Columbia River. He founded Maranatha Press in 1950 to give voice to that revelation.

Father John Mark Delepine’s (1936-2024) ambition was for each of his children to do as their inner light led them.

I, John Michael Delepine (b. 1957) was baptized two times as a Baptist, two times as a Catholic, two or three times by other means, be carrying on.
